Amanda & Bryce met while working as Peer Admissions Representatives at Arizona State University Undergraduate Admissions. They worked with a small group of students on weeknights and spent a whole year in the same office, not knowing one another. Amanda worked on Data entry while Bryce was making phone calls, so though they were in close quarters, they rarely crossed paths. After a Peer Rep meeting at the start of the new school year, they started having a conversation and instantly clicked. A few weeks later, they were an item and now almost 5 years later, they're planning their wedding.
Amanda grew up in Livonia, MI, a city located between Ann Arbor and Detroit. During Elementary, Middle and High school, she was very active in church, school and sports activities, played piano and taught at an art studio she had attended for years. Her main focus, above all else, has always been theatre. She studied theatre and film through the magnet program, "Creative And Performing Arts" at the high school, a program she'd been a part of since age 9. CAPA prepared her for her studies at Arizona State, where she majored in Theatre. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles for film & television acting and currently works as a full-time actor.
Amanda's brother, Andrew and brother-in-law, Brian, reside in Boston, MA - her brother, Matt, sister-in-law, Dana and niece/goddaughter, Hannah, reside in Chicago, IL while her parents are in Livonia, MI. Between those 3 cities as well as traveling to Phoenix to see friends and family, Bryce and Amanda have so many fun places to visit and have found themselves traveling more in the last year than ever before!
Bryce grew up Phoenix, AZ. In high school he ran cross-country, helping his team become state champions. Bryce started at Arizona State University in 2007 as a Business major, later changing to Sociology. While in school he worked on an apparel brand as well as a social networking website with his friends. Working on these businesses sparked Bryce's interest in startups and eventually led him to becoming a professional software engineer. Bryce now works in Santa Monica, California at Science Inc., a company that creates, acquires, and invests in online businesses.
